Taste of Heaven

In the past years, I hadn't been so accustomed in doing such a culinary tour, cause of many things. But these days, it is like a everyday milk for me, though it may bring me out to something harmful called a risk: a.k.a spending a lot of money for the sake of my tongue, and stomach. Whutta shame. Prolly I need to take a control on it better.

Again, that was just an intro to what I'd like to share with you, readers. This is about the most delicious sort of food I have ever tasted.

The place is located nearby, the one my friends and I can reach by only walking on about five minutes or so, from Samirono, Yk. It has a long tent, but we always prefer sitting down, having such a deep connection with the mother earth. Nonsense. That's  just because we're Indonesian.

It offers us many kinds of seafood, though some standard menus can also be found there. Some weeks ago, I made up my mind to have a try on a food called capcay cumi rebus. This was the one you can see in this post' picture. In English, insyaAllah it calls 'chop suey' with some fresh squid flesh boiled along inside it, if I'm not mistaken.

On the first sip, I was certain that THIS WAS THE BEST FOOD EVER COMING TO THE EDGE OF MY MOUTH! No way near. It's absolutely heaven-tasted. I don't really love vegetables, but this kinda food change all the perception on it. Though I don't really know how other food courts serve chop suey, I was like to recommend you all to taste this one.

The stall is actually located right in front of YSU (Yogyakarta State University, or UNY) Sport Building. You can find it only in the evening. When you wanna feel the atmosphere of Yogyakarta, you need not to to to Malioboro. This was enough. Cause you can find a warmth of an evening with the out-of-tune voice from many street singers. Yea, one of them is THAT SINGER.
